On a church outside sign, it read GODISNOWHERE. This sign can be read as GOD IS NO WHERE OR GOD IS NOW HERE. Our life is made up of so many of these and it is up to us to choose the one for us. In our everyday life, we can say the same as Love is NO WHERE or Love is  NOW HERE or friends are  NO WHERE or friends are  NOW HERE.

 In our home business, you can say Financial Freedom is  NO WHERE or Financial Freedom is  NOW HERE. Using the negative thinking keeps us from moving forward to our goals.  We stop ourselves in our own mind and it will never let us move forward.

Think about the statements as you say them. How do they make you feel? One is a downer (negative) and puts you in low or lack feeling and the other is an uplifter (positive) that puts you in the feeling of positive and you can do it. Positive thoughts are essential in our life.

WHICH thoughts would you rather have, positive or negative.  Start practicing POSITIVE THOUGHTS right now and you will see a difference in your life.

Life is made up of positive and negatives but if we are in control of our own thinking, we will choose the postive.  It is possible to turn your negative thoughts into positive thoughts just by how you say them. I am choosing  POSSITIVE THOUGHTS. Being in control of your own thinking leads you to YOUR  decision of YOUR OWN THOUGHTS. You are then in control of your own life.

It could be if you know what kind of company ou are placing your future in.  There are a few things you should know about before choosing the right company for your FINANCIAL FREEDOM.

>What products are they selling
>Compensation Plan is written with the distributor in mind.
>How many reps do you need to have a monthly income of $10,000
>Do they offer support
>Is their stock publicly traded

There are other questions that should be asked but I think I have mentioned some of the most important.

You must be offering a product or it could be a scam.

Compensation Plans are usually written with the owner in mind first.  If they contain a clause that says it can be changed without any notice to you.  Run, Run, Run.  If the plan does not have a resonable amount of readable pages, it may be written to confuse you.  It does not take many pages to benifit you.  Read every word very carefully before signing on the dotted line.  It is a legal document and the company can hold you responsible.

The number of reps needed to have a $10,000 monthly income can vary.  Most are in the thousands but some could go as high as tens of thousands.  Ask this question so you will know before joining.  You can determine if this quota is reasonable for you to reach.

Does this company offer FREE SUPPORT.  Many will charge for their online sites or tools needed in helping you reach your goal. This is an extra expense that is over the initial signup fee.

If they have publicly traded stock, that is money that the would go to the distributors instead of stock holders.  The initial cost to be publicly traded is approxmately one million dollars.  Just think what you can do with that extra money.  

I know a well known company that has been in existence for over 100 years.  They are publicly traded.  The signup fee is very low and you can buy products whoesale.  When it comes to making money in their Network Marketing Plan, it is almost impossible for most.  I was unable to find a written compensation plan but what I could figure out, there are so many hoops you have jump through to just make a dollar.  Lots of times it is zero. You would need about 3500 reps to reach the $10,000 goal.

Another company, I have found has a compensation plan that is straght forward and easy to understand.  This company offers FREE SUPPORT,no catches and they even have a former private investagator that will read any compensation plan and explain the difficulties with the plan.  With this company, you can reach the $10,000 monthly with less than 500 reps.  It has been done by some for less than 400.

Most do not.  Their main focus is for the management to make it big.  We are drawn in like their pawns on the chess board hoping to make the extra income.  Most of us tried and failed several times because we always think the next one is the way.

I am tired of being sucked into a false direction and find myself at the end of a cliff.  We tell ourselves that if we had only did something different but nothing seems to have the outcome we want.

I started searching the internet trying to find that perfect extra income.  You see, I am 72 years old and legally blind.  I worked all my life in a job, job and all my thoughts and ideals went to help them make more money but I never saw any extra income, only my regular paycheck. 

I have decided to put my own ideals and thoughts for my benefit.  I started researching the internet to find something I would love doing and it could make me the extra money.  I did not want to have to pay a lot of money I did not have so my search was very time consuming.  It is hard to find Network Marketing Companies that do not cost an arm or leg to get started.  That was only the start, you had to buy sites, supplies, and any support that you need.

My  searching finally has paid off.  I have found a company that meets my needs and cost very little.  The support and sites are all  free so there is no extra outgoing expenses.

I would like to share this search with you and give you a shortcut to finding the Network Marketing Company that thinks of you.

(This is an article that I wrote to a subject that Dr. Phil was covering on his May 4, 2009 show called REINVENT YOURSELF.)

To Reinvent Yourself, you must first know who you are. When I was growing up, I did not know who I was and had no self confidence. I am now 72 years old and legally blind and I know who I am now and Own My Life.

I found out that from the time that you are born, you are programmed by someone else. First you’re parents, then your teachers and finally your bosses. You are told what to do, when to do it and sometimes how to do it. Our thinking was not our own. Some of this programming was good and some very destructive.

Knowing this, I am now able to weed out any thoughts that are not me and set my own goals. My thoughts now are positive and I now like me.

Knowing who you are and where you want to be. This makes all the difference in the world. You can set your own goals and you do not give up until you reach them. Yes, this takes time and practice but persistence pays off.

There is work anywhere if you just get rid of the negative thoughts that there is none. The internet is full of ways to make an income. If you have a goal in mind and the positive thought that you can achieve it, it will happen because you will make it happen. You can not be a quitter. There are people making money on the internet with Network Marketing, writing and selling ebooks and resources that people need. Money can be made but you must have a plan and a direction and keep going until you reach it.

It has taken me all these years to realize that my success is within ME. I have not made it yet but I know it can happen and my goal is to have the extra income that I want within one year. You must have a plan and goal in order to reach it, It does not come without work.

The book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill has given me great insight. This book was written by him during the depression of the 1930’s. He interviewed 500 successful business men that were prosperous and put their ideals in book form. The bottom line to it all, it is all in how we think. If we say we cannot, we will not, but if we say we can, we can. It takes practice to get it but once you do, you can own your own life. What a great feeling that you are the one in control and not someone else. God made you as a unique person and there are none other like you, so do not put limitations on yourself. Set your goals and reach for them.

You can make it in any circumstance and OWN YOUR LIFE.

What a great reward this would be if this blind, 72 year old can help you REINVENT YOURSELF AND FIND HOPE. I really believe you can.

2. When you can look into the mirror and say I love that person.

4. When you have God at your side and know you are never alone.

7. When you can listen to other people’s thoughts but only keep what you want to keep.
8. When you know your WHY and continue until you reach it.
9. When you know you have gifts and you share them with others.
10. When you realize no matter how old you are when you start, you can OWN YOUR LIFE.

I have a reason for putting these thoughts on paper.  I had to remind myself.  I felt myself slip into a depressing mood and it was over a memory that is over 25 years old.  Putting this on paper has helped me gain back my life because I gave it away for a short time.  I did not like the feelings so I have worked all day on how to gain myself back and this is why I am writing this.

Maybe this will help others that fall into the same place that I found myself in this week.  I now understand how strong your subconscious mind is.  I guess you do not know until you experience something like this.

First, let us evaluate, “What is a relationship”?

The dictionary describes it as connecting or bonding of participants.

There are many different relationships, some are positive and some are some are negative.  Let us identify them.

v    Romantic

v    Personal

v    Caring

v    Loving

v    Abusive

v    Controlling

These are just a few that I have mentioned.  Building a positive relationship can last for life.  This relationship contains honesty, unconditional love and a genuine caring for the other person.  Trust is the most important attribute in a relationship.

A relationship is a bonding of two people that trust one another.  You do not try to change anyone but share ideals and feelings.

The new approach to this is now called Social or Attraction Marketing.  That is the entire buzz on the internet now.  Face book, Tweeter, My Space and several other sites are doing just that.  Several so called marketing experts are trying to promote this ideal.

Relationships are earned not bought.  There must be a feeling of confidence and trust in order for them to work.  People are very skeptical today and have little trust in others.  Once the bond is formed, it is important that you do nothing to damage it. 

As you see that Social and Attraction Marketing really should be called Relationship Marketing.  We need positive relationships in our lives today.  The news media make everything seem like doom and gloom but if we can join together in positive relationships, we can change our outlook on life and help others to change also.

MLM is a good concept if used for all people and not just the ones at the top.  It is promoting products and companies that can stimulate the economy.  We must all have an equal chance.  You can do it if you do your homework and prove that you are in the best company you can be in.

I have to start at the beginning of my life to bring you to point when and how I found out how to Own My Life.

In 1958, I left college because my father had a heart attack and I did not want to be away from him.  I was in college over 100 miles away.  I found a job working in a research department of a local tobacco company.

I had just turned 21 and it was so much fun to go out every night with some friends.  We danced and drank until 2:00 AM  in the morning and got up and went to work the next day.  We called this fun.  Drinking gave me the self confidence that I lacked.  This continued for several years. 

I married when I was 28 and continued to drink.  Keep in mind, I only drank after noon so I would not be called an alcoholic.  I became pregnant with my first child and had  her when I was 30.  The drinking slowed down but never stopped.  I still lacked self confidence,  At 31, I had my second daughter and 34 had our last daughter.  I was always looking for that feeling of worth but it would never come.  I read self help books, prayed and tried so hard to find that feeling.

My husband was not a good support and I found myself always trying to please him and everyone that I came in contact.  My feeling did not matter, it was everyone else feelings.  I always put them first.

In one of the self help books, I read that I was in control of my own feelings.  This helped me to see that no one else could really control me.  Guess what, I still did not get it.  The feelings continued.

My husband’s took us on the road.  At first, I thought this was the thing to make me happy.  It lasted only a short while and I was back in the lack of self confidence  again.  My husband became involved into an affair and this put me much lower in the gutter.  I did everything I knew to please him but nothing worked.  I was still drinking and more than before because I did not want to feel.

One day something snapped inside of me and I realized that alcohol was no answer and I had to take control for my girls.  I had to grow up and be an adult.

I went to AA and found the 12 steps amd the Serenity Prayer.  This prayer goes this way “God grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference”  I asked the instructor how do you know the difference.  His reply is “you cannot change other people, places or things”.  Wow, what an awaking.  I started following the 12 steps and saying the Serenity  Prayer several times a day.  This was my start.  I was starting to find self worth in myself but I was a long way from owning my life.

My husband and I worked things out but I was now starting to control my own life and not have circumstances control it.  This can be a slow process but you must keep  looking forward.

I have been blind in my left eye since I was young and in 1984, I was having problem with my sight in my other eye.  I went to the doctor when I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa which is a slow progressive disease that leads to legal or total blindness.  If I had not had the 12 steps and the Serenity Prayer, I think I would have just fallen apart.  I became more determine to control my own life.  I was not going to let this blindness stop me.

I taught myself how to see with the touch of my fingers and finally using my white cane.  The blind rehab has provided me with the tools that I need to write these articles and I feel like a sighted person when I am on my computer.

I have tried to only think positive thoughts and rid myself of any negative thoughts.  Recently I found a group that has helped me to reinforce my positive thinking.  They have a Mental Cleanse session that we all read a chapter in Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  We then do a lesson plan that makes our thoughts on the subject come alive.  During the time you are doing this, you are asked to turn off the TV, radio and any negative thinking and let only your positive come alive in your mind.  It really works, it allows you to clean out and evaluate all the negative thoughts that have been programmed in your mind since you were born.  Not all thoughts are negative but most of your thoughts come from being programmed from others as we were growing up and how we perceived these thoughts.  I have been in the Mental Cleanse for several months now and I can see now that I can own my life and it is the greatest feeling in the world.

We cannot be someone else, we can only be yourself so we must think our own thoughts not someone else thoughts.  When we are in control of our self, then we can OWN OUR LIFE.

Green said: “Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves.”

Blue interrupted: “You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea.”

Yellow chuckled: “You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety, and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow.”

Orange started next to blow her trumpet: “I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life. I carry the most important vitamins.”

Red could stand it no longer he shouted out: “I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life’s blood! I am the color of danger and of bravery. I am willing to fight for a cause. I bring fire into the blood.”

Purple rose up to his full height: “I am the color of royalty and power. Kings, chiefs, and bishops have always chosen me for I am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me!”

Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightning.  Thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort. In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: “You foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest. Don’t you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different? Join hands with one another and come to me.” They did so.

The rain continued: “From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow and its Biblical message is “God keeps His promises.”
